You clicked a coordinate. Good instinct. Here's what a full-funnel marketing shop that's actually planted in Battle Ground looks like, not a franchise office an hour south treating your account as an afterthought.

The market, actually

Battle Ground is one of the fastest-growing cities in Clark County, a genuine bedroom community pulling in new residents and, with them, new local businesses: contractors, clinics, restaurants, retail. It's close enough to Vancouver and Portland to matter, far enough that the search results for “near me” queries here aren't drowning in big-metro competition the way Portland proper's are. That's a real, winnable opportunity for a local business willing to actually show up online.

The battle that wasn't

The town's name comes from an 1855 standoff between U.S. Army troops and a band of Klickitat people led by Chief Umtuch, camped near what's now the city. Both sides prepared for a fight. Neither side fired a shot, a peaceful resolution was reached, and the name stuck as a wry nod to the battle that never happened. Battle Ground incorporated as a city in 1907 and has been quietly growing ever since.

What we actually do here

Web design and development for local contractors and retailers who need a site that loads fast and actually ranks. Local SEO and Google Business Profile work aimed squarely at winning the map pack for Battle Ground-specific searches, not generic Clark County ones. Paid search and social geo-targeted to this side of the county, tracked to an actual conversion, not a vague impression count. Analytics that tell you whether a Battle Ground customer found you or scrolled past. Branding for small businesses that need to look like more than a one-truck operation, because plenty of them are about to become more than that.

Why based-here beats an hour away

Most agencies serving small Clark County towns are based in Seattle or downtown Portland and treat a Battle Ground account like a rounding error. We're two people, and this corridor, Battle Ground down through Springfield, is the whole territory we work. That's not a sales line, it's the actual business model.

The parks and roads we already know

Lewisville Regional Park and Moulton Falls Regional Park sit a short drive out of town along the East Fork Lewis River, both places we've actually walked, not just looked up. Knowing the geography a client's customers actually live and drive around in is a small thing that shows up in local content that doesn't read like it was written somewhere else.

Why does a coordinate on our homepage lead here?

Because that pin on our own corridor map is Battle Ground, and we'd rather it lead to a real, sourced page about the town than nowhere at all. If we'll build this for our own homepage easter egg, imagine what we build for a page that's actually supposed to bring your business customers.
